Dove Purely Pampering Body Wash for Dry Skin Shea Butter with Warm Vanilla Effectively Washes Away Bacteria While Nourishing Your Skin 22oz 4 Count- I like the feel of this body wash. Dove has been around forever and though this says it’s a new version this is very similar to any of the moisturizing dove body washes I have tried in the past. I do however think this is a tad of an improvement from ones I have had before. Mainly the scent and the feel of my skin after usage are improved (mildly but better). If you haven’t used doves body washes before then this is a good one to try. This body wash gets more suds than I remember the other versions in the past getting which I really like. I remember using dove body washes a while back and it would feel more like a lotion than a body wash. This really does a good job of balancing that. It is very moisturizing but still manages to feel like soap. Though I will admit it still lacks the suds of a true soap or traditional body wash but this manages to make it a much closer comparison. The product is very thick too which I also like. That aspect is the biggest reason I stopped using dove body washes. The other big plus here is the scent is really nice. It’s not overbearing rather a pleasant/calming vanilla and almond scent. I am very surprised by how long the scent lasts on my skin. Normally, I can’t smell the body wash I use once I dry off but this one I can smell. It’s a good scent and doesn’t overpower at all to me. Moisturizing is another big plus. This body wash leaves my skin very soft. I’m impressed actually with the results after using this. For a low-cost body wash it does work very well. I didn’t need to put lotion on after I showered using this. I normally would put lotion on after I shower almost ritually. With this body wash, I find I can skip a day or two of lotion and my skin doesn’t feel dry. Overall this is a good listing. The price point is fair and the body wash works well. Dove isn’t going to ever break the bank but for the size of the 4 bottles, this is a good value buy and it’s convenient. I would reorder this and I also like that it’s available for subscribe and save which helps shave off a little more.

I usually stay away from vanilla fragrances, assuming they will be too cloying. But the scent in this Dove product is fairly sophisticated. The fragrance is not cloying at all--just a touch sweet vanilla and then something mysterious underlying. It is a very pleasant experience: Fragrant; smooth flowing, soft and silky; lathers up easily; rinses off quickly. It sure does have a lasting fragrance and it moisturizes wonderfully. It is typical Dove moisturizing. It is a more pleasant than normal fragrance.

This is the creamiest body wash ever. It may work better with a bath puff/sponge thingamabob but I dont believe in those. With a washcloth it takes a bit of effort to get the lather going. Once it get to work it produces a lot of lather and cleans effectively while making my skin feel so soft. I dont typically go for smells like this as an adult but I dont mind it here. It smells a kind of sweet but not irritatingly so. This is perfect for those with dry skin and for this wintery weather.

This particular set includes four 22-ounce bottles of Dove with pricing that is consistent for Dove and a solid value that will either set you up with Dove for a while, as in my case, or will be great for an entire family. While every Dove product is dermatologist approved, for those with ultra-sensitive skin the addition of a scent can sometimes be a trigger. This is always individualized and worth noting. I typically use unscented products and had very little negative response to this product as vanilla itself tends to be rather gentle. I tend to always get tempted by scents and Dove continues to have options for me I can use without paying a huge price. For those who prefer responsible manufacturing and packaging, Dove uses 100% recycled plastics for their bottles and their product has a PETA cruelty-free certification. This is a plant-based moisturizer and, indeed, it works wonders on my skin while also making it feel clean. Im a definite fan of Dove products. As someone with lifelong skin allergies, Dove has consistently offered products I can use without breakouts or rashes. Their products only continue to improve and thats certainly the case here. The moisturizing is wonderful, the cleansing is effective, the scent is light yet pleasing, and the price is a solid value. For those times when I crave good skin care with a light scent, this body wash will definitely deliver and Im super happy with it.
