Dove Men+Care Body and Face Wash, Deep Clean, 13.5 Ounce (Pack of 3)

Ive been using this shower soap for yrs now--the Red label specifically. I notice that several reviewers complained about their product being watered down which is interesting because the last time I purchased this soap was on Ebay (one month ago) because it was advertised as the older formula and when it arrived I was pleased to see it was the old style label but when I opened the bottle I was very disappointing to find a very, very watery product. I too felt I had been ripped off by a seller who was watering down the product at best, or replacing the soap with something else entirely. The original formula has gel consistency. Anyway, I feel better after reading that a lot of buyers on Amazon received similar products so it may just be coming from the Dove factory that way. Nonetheless, Im not a fan of the newer formula with the tiny beads!! Why do companies always feel the need to change a good thing!!?

Has same scent, same scrubbing grit product but comes out like water, not a thick gel like the one I got at a retail store. Can only use this watery product with a wash cloth before washing. Worse still, it stores upside down so closing the cap splashes product into my face/eyes.

I don’t know if it is the heat affecting the product or whether the product is expired. However, this makes the second order of this product in which the soap is like water. It isn’t thick like it is supposed to be. I will no longer be ordering this stuff online.

We have purchased this product before at the store and liked it. Thought we would try ordering it from Amazon, in bulk, and instead of a gel body wash it was extremely thin liquid. I shook the upopened bottles, and sure enough, they sound like they’re full of water. Not the same product at all.

Seems to lather up good! Hard to find this in stores anymore. It’s not as gritty as it used to be. Looks more clear also
