I planned to buy plastic to replace my mixing bowls but when I saw these, I immediately fell in love with the bright colors and geometric designs. They are so attractive I don’t have any intention of hiding them in the cabinet with my other “cookware and bakeware”. They are heavier than I thought, and as such not exactly what Im looking for in mixing bowls but I absolutely adore them so I dont even care. Their uses as bowls go far beyond mixing bowls. We used the middle bowl for salad the first day they arrived and Im pretty sure we used one or two every night for dinner for the first week and a half we got it. They are a dishware staple. Pared with beeswax wraps for lids, they are my favorite bowls. I have no qualms about putting hot food in them for use on the dinner table and it is crucial to me that I can stick them in the dishwasher with ease. They are heavier than I thought they would be but infinitely sturdier and more beautiful than I expected. Hopefully, that means clumsy me will not break them. They do nest or fit perfectly within each other to save space on your counter. I do not regret adding this burst of color to my kitchen shelf.
