> 24 hourI am very happy with the performance of the bit and the clean cut. Use this with a template to cut mahogany plaques with no problems. Cut smooth and clean. Great value for the money would buy again.

> 24 hourGood value. Bearings roll smooth, straight and even Cut clean and smooth on 3/4 inch acrylic. Care needs to be given cutting acrylic with this bit, and other similar items. This bit has a decent amount of grab and will force your router or media being cut (whichever is not fixed or secured) in the opposite direction of the blades spinning direction. As the blade dulls over time, this gets more pronounced. I recommend taking a little bit of media off at a time, dont try to cut a 1/8 inch deep section off at once - do it in 3 or 4 lighter passes. For acrylic, this means first rough cutting with a jig saw for instance, then make final fine cuts with this routing bit. Ultimately, this item did the job and the final product is quite good. Price is great, especially considering the build quality. Perfect for the casual DIY user, just temper expectations for blade sharpness. If you are a pro and need one bit for long life, this may not be for you. For the rest of us, this is a solid option.

> 24 hourCut quality is very good but mark the work beyond the trim if bearing isnt set in the exact right spot.

> 24 hourIf youve never tried them, seriously, get one now. Ive always used flush cut bits. Decades, still used flush cut bits. Until I decided to try one of these. Ill never go back to regular flush cut bits. These are amazing. Ive run dozens of passes using these bits, and they still throw perfectly blade shaped chips like slicing a potato. The correct up/down bit will hold your work against the surface if youre using an overarm router or fixed base router. In a word, the right bit, and theyre perfect. Only suggestion I can give for outstanding performance is to trim whatever youre working on as close to the final shape as you can. They will cut with full contact like going through a board to cut out a pattern. But, trimmed close they glide through like butter and wont pull away from what youre working with. I bought several of each, and Ill never go back to straight flush cut bits.

> 24 hourI am totally surprised how well this router bit has performed. I have used it every day since I received it and it has remained sharp. The coating on it seems to help it remain sharp. Its a good buy!

> 24 hourI use a fair amount of tracer router bits. I have a half dozen 1/2 bits, one 3/8 bit, but never had a 1/4 size. I had a project where I had slots just under 3/8 wide, and had a pattern to make the cuts perfectly straight, soI ordered this bit. I was a little concerned with a couple negative reviews. My project used 3/8 thick oak. The rough cut was approximately 1/16 from the final shape. This bit worked very nice. Typically, if you are cutting wood with tracer bits, you want the clean-up to be less than half of the cutting diameter, thus the advantage of using a larger bit when possible. If you are cutting Formica, you can actually cut full width of the bit.

> 24 hourNeeded an upcut/ downcut 1/4 flush trim bit, bought one each. Only used the downcut so far, but it meet my expectations

> 24 hourEasy to handle; very smooth trim with my hand router. Yes, its quite narrow and has the appearance of something that could snap, but so far, so good after a trimming a total of, say, 8 feet. I do feel--maybe its all in my head--that the spiral cutter sucks the bit/router down to the workpiece.

> 24 hourMade a nice flush cut. Did have 1 break, probably on me, awkward reach vs repositioning

> 24 hourI read the reviews and wondered if these would be better than my old CMT orange flush bit. So i tried it to see. We have a fairly large remodel with new laminate and backsplash over existing laminate. I have successfully used and like my craftsman all in one tool for this. The CMT bit i have cuts flawless and very sturdy. But these down bits seem to look like they would do a good job, what i found was 1/2 way thru i was back to the cmt... ESP when you have to seam cut. It also seemed as though it worked the tool real hard and really wanted to wander. Maybe for patterns in wood or mdf, it wood be fine? I do not recommend, esp if u r new to the laminate experiences. Do yourself a favor and opt for CMT or Whiteside straight cut bits. I will be returning mine, just was not worth the money or hassle to use it. sorry.
