Driveclub VR (PSVR)

So I read the all the reviews before purchasing and was a little concerned by the negative feedback left by a lot of people.

The graphics ARE pretty terrible - I would go so far as to say late PS2 standard - especially the water which is just appalling. Part of VR is being emersed within a world and feeling that you are part of that world - this relies heavily on graphics to do this when the experience being simulated is a translation of realism..... ie driveclub intends to reproduce the real world. Therefore when the graphical representation of the world does not correspond to reality you are taken out of the world. This is completely different to REZ (Excellent game) where the graphics are high fidelity version of PS2 graphics BUT the game does not intend to replicate reality and therefore the low polygon / textureless graphics do not detract from the overall VR experience.....

do not buy before you try it somewhere. it is hard to play. some of my friends can not play it more than 10 seconds. i can play it max 15 minutes at one time. definitely the hardest one to play on playstation vr.

one of most beutiful games ever, real sim racer, very happy with purchase, no immediatly motion sickness like in other games. can play it about 8 hours easy without motion sickness. I hope it will be more classical cars in other version of the game, like Ferrari Testarossa, Lambo Diablo, Countach and many many others. good visuals, great job, great game 10/10.

Brilliant, especially with decent steering wheel and pedals. Very immersive experience.

Good still lacking in fine detail though.

Didnt realise it was a VR I had ordered and as the headset was about £350 to buy I had to trade it in at The Game Shop ( for a ridiculous price) as I wasnt prepared to pay that amount....so a lesson to be learnt there!!!

Game requires the player to connect to Drive Club servers in order to play it but these servers shut down 2 years ago so you cannot play the game.

not the best game ever but great anyways
