WOW!! This cover is good looking comfortable, safe to carry around and adjustable secure standing guard. I am amazed with this design with rubber strap and side flat pocket etc. Price of this cover is amazing!! I know every body will love this. HIGHLY recommend!!!!!

Last week I finally broke down and decided to update my iPad mini 2 & of course , I had to start shopping for cases. Meanwhile Saturday I dropped my XR for the millionth time and finally cracked the (no longer) clear over priced case that I’d bought from Apple. That was a regrettable purchase from day one. I bought the red phone which in good light is a rich red (I’m getting there) but in our house which is kept consistently at movie theater lighting, I spent most of my time yelling, “Does anyone see my phone?” I went to the mall and bought the lightest (not clunky) case I could find (in pictures) so I could at least see it at the bottom of my purse or on the granite counter. Forget about looking professional (whatever that is)- I want easy to see. While hunting for my old iPad in its conservative black leatherette case, I decided I NEEDED to get a brighter case for the new iPad mini as well. Serendipitously I found this one here on Amazon. It almost looks like a set & if you look at the 2 ipads side by side in pictures, you’ll see my initial problem- being able to find my devices in the dark e cause that room, where we spend 100% of our time awake, is also the home theater. I was looking for a case similar to my old one and I found this one. I am basing my durability score on my grand daughter’s usage on hers which is about a year old but different color. I’m thinking the 10 year old’s usage is a little bit harder than mine and so far it’s holding up in like new condition. iPad snaps in securely and you have a hand strap when it’s folded open as well as notches on front cover to hold it at different levels. I won’t lie, I do wish it had a 90° rotational capability but overall, it protects all the corners if I drop it closed. I don’t know what would happen if I dropped it open as the edges of the iPad are almost flush with the edge of the case and an open faced drop may knock it out of the snap in case. I do love that it almost matches my phone case. The case is available on Amazon by a different company if somebody wanted this specific print for 1/2 the price I paid at the mall, so there’s that. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and I can find it in my purse & house.

The cutout for the power button makes it difficult to unlock using fingerprint (but only when tablet is in landscape/horizontal); Material feels a bit cheap. Overall, good enough for the price.

I bought this case because it was similar to my old iPad case. The things I love about it: 1) Protects iPad securely 2) Puts iPad to sleep when close cover 3) Has hand handle for when using IPad 4) Has a place for an apple pen 5) Has a slot to put papers/notes on cover 6) Has elastic strap that holds cover open when using IPad I would definitely buy again and would recommend.

This fits great and looks good. Everything lines up as it should. So far it is holding up well and I carry it with me often. I have had no problem with the pen holder. Just make sure you put it in the right way. It is not difficult to remove as other have said. You just give a little push from the back and it pops right out. I like how it fits and no chance of it falling out even when the case is open and your not using the pen. When I need a new case I will get another one of these.

Love sleep mode. Can depend on it when ready to use as I use it many hours a day. Also like the little front pocket for cards I may need.

If you’re like me and take your iPad everywhere. I would recommend this is especially for school because there’s a pocket in the front where you can put paper in. That pocket actually saved me one time during class. I accidentally left my iPad behind in class but my professor found it since there was a piece of paper in the pocket with my name on it. If it wasn’t for that pocket I would’ve probably lost my iPad for good

I’m so pleased with this case. In fact I considered it before playing it safe and getting Apple’s native case, which Is half the case at twice the price. The DTTO has a chargeable pencil slot, has the 2 tilt positions I use often when setting on a table or my lap (you have to play around to find the more slight angle lap position), has a handle on the back to slip your hand into for easier one hand holding which works wonderful, then closes up into an attractive case when carried around. The securing ribbon is handy as the case binding has a bit of play, but not so much as to make the case feel flimsy. The added slip pocket on the top doesn’t seem very useful to me but doesn’t detract from the attractiveness. Yes a bit more expensive than the plethora of $15 cases out there but I still feel it’s a good value for what you get. One feels like it wouldn’t last for the life of the iPad, but I wouldn’t mind buying another in a couple years in a different color.

Seems to work well. Had one just like this one for my mini 4. Not sure how well the Apple Pencil can be charged with the cover. Recommended.
