> 24 hourI had a few light surface scratches on my car, and this polisher removed them! It was easy to use. Ive had other polishers and this one would definitely be suitable for beginners

> 24 hourI own 3 cars, 2 of them being on the older end that badly needed some headlight polish love, this took care of it in less than 10 minutes per car. Absolutely astounding and easy to use (this is my first polish tool ever, btw) - I took some counsel from professionals in the area and after seeing the tool I’m using, they started asking many questions and were impressed by its quality. I ended up polishing a few spots on my oldest vehicle (a tiny Red Honda) and thus treated it quite well! I workout out quite a lot and I don’t feel the weight of this polishing tool, but I could definitely see it being hard to use for long periods of time.

> 24 hourErgonomic, easy to use. Nice handles. Not too large that it gets away from you. 6” polishing pad but still very easy to manage and handle. Robust, powerful, but nice to use and very effective.

> 24 hourWhat can I say, made in China! I bought this because I like good tools and this had good reviews. Its a great tool, heavy enough and great ergonomics without the need to attach the handle. The speed control is the problem why my brand new tool quit. I am polishing a brand new paint job that has been color wet sanded with 1500 grit and buffed to a shine. I wanted the ultimate gloss so purchased the polisher and got through the trunk lid and was starting a quarter panel when the tool just stopped. Checked power and plugs and then discovered that the tool only ran set at full speed of #6 and I was only using #1, which did seem faster than it should be. Im taking a chance and getting the same tool again, it seems really good and hoping the speed wheel malfunction is a fluke. I have random orbit wood sanders with literally 30 years of service on them, dont understand why modern tools just dont hold up.

> 24 hourLoved the light vibration of machine. Well balanced and handled well to me. Glad I went with MaXShine, Not really heavy but does the heavyweight lifting. Focus and Tuscon compounded, polished then coated. 450 polished only. Left SeXXXy prepped surface for ceramic coating!!

> 24 hourIll be honest, this is my first DA polisher, but probably will be the only one for a long time. Ive seen the MaxShine M8S pop up a lot from DIY detailers Ive talked to as one of the go-to budget DA polishers, but there were a few issues with the v1 that I wasnt quite comfortable with maintaining. I got to use the v1 but I didnt feel like it was for me. Then I saw the v2 pop up in my offers list, and I was like whoa, that looks quite different, and improved. And it is. Ive become a little more adventurous with my vehicles, namely going outdoors, onto the trails, and exposing them to the dangers of rocks and trees and the like. Inevitably, my cars have suffered a fair amount of paint defects. I used to treat small scratches on the daily driver by hand, using a car sponge, polisher, scratch fixer, wax, etc. you name it. But when your car gets a case of trail rash or splatters of mud and bits of rock across full panels of your car, doing it by hand just doesnt cut it anymore. Thats all changed since Ive gotten the MaxShine M8S V2. As a DA polisher, its not forced, and it provides a decent 8mm orbit. Yes, theres the larger 15mm orbit on the M15 pro model, but that covers a lot of space and Im not that experienced yet at controlling this thing. That said, the 8mm throw is fairly easy to manage, still covers a good amount of space, and provides some versatility around the tighter corners. Thats coming from a beginner and a first-time user. Im currently using Meguiar pads with 3D products and Im achieving results I would have never been able to by hand. Im not worried about burning my paint because the MaxShine is DA and not forced rotation. As a beginner getting into detailing with tools, I feel the MaxShine M8S V2 is a fantastic beginners tool and should last me for a very long time. Maintenance seems easy enough with easy access to the carbon brushes and Maxshine includes an extra set too. I just wish the speed dial wasnt on the bottom but on the top instead.

> 24 hourIm not sure why the other reviews for this product are about a sink, but we bought this orbital buffer to polish our competition grill and car. However, it does not come with any pads so we had to purchase those separately before using it. It works as described to polish the surface of vehicles (or grills) with ease.
