> 24 hourEasy to use and does a great job.Use it on my car occasionally to polish after cleaning. It’s easy to handle for my husband where I think it’s a bit heavy. But I guess that’s what they usually weight. You have to purchase the pads separately but that’s no big deal.Good polisher for your car cleaning projects

> 24 hourI have five cars - and theyre mostly over 10 years old - so, along with the age comes some oxidation of the paint, just general weathering. So, Im watching a bunch of videos on how to restore the look and this is the solution that most of those experts gave - so I bit, got this MaxShine and Ive been very pleased. Even took away the oxidation on an old head light. Wish I had some before and after pictures to share, but get this, get a good set of polisher sponges (make sure they are the right size) and some polish - and go for it. Polished up some plastic chairs, too. Polisher is easy to use - attach the right grit sponge pad - and go for it!

> 24 hourThis is a very nice polisher especially for the price. Its great for someone who is just starting out using polishers as it has an 8mm throw which can be easier to use. The pad is 5 inches which is a great all around size for vehicles. I really like the platypus handle design as it does make holding the unit more comfortable. The unit comes with a case to store the extras like the optional handle, etc. Youll want to get some pads for it as it doesnt come with any. A general use orange pad and a finer pad should be all that you need to start getting great results. It has 6 speeds to choose from and lets you choose in 1/2 step increments. Ive used it to polish as well as apply and spread a sealant and so far its been great. Its the perfect polisher for the DIYer while also being able to handle more professional work if needed. Ive used MaxShine polishers in the past and have had nothing but good luck with them. Im sure Ill have the same with this polisher.

> 24 hourThis thing is great!! It is quite powerful, so if you don’t know what you’re doing, just be careful with the speed setting you select!!! Start slow and work your way up. If you start too high, you can easily damage your clear coat/gel coat. It has 6 speed settings, but there’s more than just that as you can select between any two speeds, it’s closer to 18 different speeds. It has great ergonomics…I really like the grip at the top. Very easy to use, once you know what you’re doing. Highly recommended…and it’s at a great price point!!

> 24 hourI have been really pleased with this MaxShine polisher. It appears to be very well made, has quality feel to it, and is well balanced in your hand. It is heavy enough to apply light pressure under its own weight without being tempted to press the polisher into the surface but not so heavy as to become tiring to use over long periods of time. It comes with a detachable handle, but I tend leave it off as I have found it comfortable to use this polisher at any required angle without it. I have been using this polisher to apply sealants and waxes, but it has enough power to do light paint correction tasks too (although it is a bit too small for heavy paint correction). Overall, this is great, beginner friendly DA polisher that can also serve a seasoned car detailer/pro. I recommend it.

> 24 hourThis polisher works great! This can be used not only for your car, but also boat. It’s powerful enough to do it’s job. Strong and sturdy. It can get a little heavy after awhile, but that’s to be expected. It gives professional results at a lower cost.

> 24 hourI own 3 cars, 2 of them being on the older end that badly needed some headlight polish love, this took care of it in less than 10 minutes per car. Absolutely astounding and easy to use (this is my first polish tool ever, btw) - I took some counsel from professionals in the area and after seeing the tool I’m using, they started asking many questions and were impressed by its quality. I ended up polishing a few spots on my oldest vehicle (a tiny Red Honda) and thus treated it quite well! I workout out quite a lot and I don’t feel the weight of this polishing tool, but I could definitely see it being hard to use for long periods of time.

> 24 hourThis is my first experience working with one of these polishers but it wasnt difficult to figure out and it made my older model car shine like new. My only issue is with how hot it got. It cut out and stopped working a few times, I presume from the heat, since it did start working again after it cooled down. I got burned from touching a hot spot, too, so Id definitely recommend using caution when using it. Also youll want to be careful where you put it when its hot like that. Dont place it on or near anything flammable.

> 24 hourI normally use a 15mm throw dual action but this works just as well as a backup for me. Its very good for beginners and with the right pad and polish, gives very good results.
