> 3 dayIt stinks! unroll some tape and smell it! Well no, dont do that because it stinks. Not real bad and it goes away quickly. As far as taping a package, it works great.

Greater than one weekThe tape itself is thin and overpriced. Got way better tape and more of it for lower price

Greater than one weekMy go- to packing tape for securing and/ or sealing boxes, crafting, and even removing pet hair from my sweaters!

Greater than one weekseems to be better than scotch/3M tape for a dispenser. This stuff is always a hit or miss and this time it was a decent hit

> 3 dayThis tape is okay and probably more my fault. Im used to using another brand that is much heavier duty than this. This tape is thin and in my opinion, not the best for shipping packages but I probably didnt read clearly that its standard and not heavy duty.

> 3 dayYikes, the glue adhesive used on this tape is nauseating. I dont remember it smelling like this in the past, but it is AWFUL. Also, the tae is super thing. It peels off NOT in a whole strip roll, but in slivers. It also curls up. I wasted over half a roll just trying to take up two boxes. Due to the toxic smell I threw out the other roles. Perhaps this is a fluke, or they changed the formula. I will update this if I ever try it again and have a better experience.

> 3 dayUpdate: the company responded, so will add a star, and if the replacement is exceptional I will come and add another star. See below. “Thank you for e-mailing concerning our products. We regret that you have had this experience, but appreciate the opportunity to correct the situation. When tape behaves in the manner you described, it usually means the tape is old or has been warehoused incorrectly. Age and temperature extremes can cause the adhesive on tape to deteriorate and cause the tape to tear improperly or not adhere. We have little control over how or for how long our products are housed once they leave our facility. We also distribute five different grades of carton sealing tapes based on the thickness of the tape. In order of descending thickness they are HP260, HD Clear, EZ START®, Commercial Grade and Standard Grade. Shurtape Technologies was the first to introduce an improved carton sealing tape that lifts easily off the roll, and unrolls smooth and easy every time you use it. This is our Ultra Performance Grade and is called EZ START®. All Shurtape Technologies products are backed by our Quality Guarantee. Please provide a complete mailing address and we will be happy to send you replacement rolls“ Original review: I care that it is made in USA. It is written all over it. But shouldnt that mean that it lasts long (at least a year!) and that the quality is high? I dont know... I feel confused about this. The first few months it worked fine as a tape, a bit on the thin side but in many situations being thin and strong helped. But now... I still have 4 rolls out of 6 remaining, and after 10 months they are fused into a roll. It is like trying to peel off a bark from a tree- comes out in strands, to the point I dont know where is the beginning and the end. I have not contacted customer support on this, but I hope they will replace these rolls. So wasteful!

> 3 dayI occasionally do a house purge and sell old items and failed hobbies on eBay. This tape is strong, sticks packaging closed (anything from cardboard boxes to plastic), and has not failed me yet after sending 16 packages over the past two months. I’m sure I could gripe about the price, but who couldn’t these days!
