07-06-2025I bought this tape to seal up plastic bags, to tape plastic to walls for home renovation project. It will not stick to plastic, walls, or any other material at all!!! do not waste your money on this product. It barely will stick to itself. its very thin and very very little adhesion. Just not a good product at all. The only reason I gave it one star is because theres not an option for negative stars. I will be returning it! The only thing this tape might be good for is ballast. Maybe??? Keith

> 3 dayDidnt find a much better deal per foot of duct tape needed to buy a crap load ( 5 ) but its for the next 5 years of problems I suppose. Ductape is good overall Id give it 5 stars but its got a super strong smell, went away after a day or two but damn if it didnt give me a head ache. Overall product is good I beleive it has a alternate adhesive as the smell gave away and the way it sticks to things isnt quite as firm as previous duct tapes used

> 3 dayI have used this product many time. It’s number one when it comes to adhesion, versatile usage.

> 3 dayOf the many tapes available, I chose these because the seller provided some info on the balance between strength and flexibility. Until them, I was searching for the strongest tape. not realizing how difficult it might be to manipulate for my project. They were right, of course, and this tape was perfect for me.

> 3 dayPicture: Top - this brand. Bottom - my old heavy duty tape. This tape is not heavy duty. Its very thin. I can see light shining through it whereas I cannot with my old heavy duty (brand unknown). It takes three layers to equal one layer of heavy duty (brand unknown). There is very little adhesive also compared to actual heavy duty. This listing seems like a lot of tape for a good price but when taking into account of how thin it is and the lack of adhesive, its not that great. If I would have known this, I would have bought the more expensive heavy duty tape.

> 3 dayIts silver, its sticky, and it seems durable, but I have never used duct tape with such a strong chemical smell before. My son covered a cardboard sword with the stuff, and the smell from it started giving me a headache. Im sure its probably fine if youre using it in a garage or somewhere open, but I cannot recommend it for indoor use.
