> 24 hourFor such a seemingly simple thing, an 11” length of rectangular rubber, this sanding block made all the difference when blocking my new quarter panels. The contours were so much easier to achieve with this block and using 80 grit PSA sandpaper to knock down & shape the high points, and then feather edge using 150 grit. The block is easy to grip using nitrile gloves and it has just the right amount of stiffness for panel contours. The passenger side I did not use this block and it took me more than twice as long, this block made the driver’s side much easier. I’m not a pro, I’m welding in new patch panels and doing my own bodywork to save some $$$ prior to a paint respray by a pro, but this save me a lot of time and made for professional-looking results.

> 24 hourThis is a trim type thin sander. It is long and does fold up a 9x11 sandpaper sheet alright. But it is not wide enough for major sanding. Stick to bigger blocks for that. It does work ok, and nothing against Durablock it just said add on item and I thought it was bigger lol. Durablock is ok, buy the bigger stuff or flexible blocks if you have work to do.
