> 3 dayI like to keep a strip of self adhesive sandpaper on my workbench at all times for quick cleanup, leveling and de-burring. Sometimes the adhesive on the rolls I bought previously would dry out and/or bond to the layer underneath it. I like the fact that this roll has a backer strip so the adhesive doesnt bond to the layer underneath it on the roll. It looks like this should also keep the adhesive from drying out before Im ready to cut the next piece form the roll. The abrasive surface is very uniform and to date appears to be well bonded.

> 3 dayOkay, Ill be the first to say that using the PSA rolls are new to me. I can speak with authority when it comes to sandpaper for woodworking, but not for this. I needed to redo a number of woodworking chisels as well as restore a few heirloom hand planes that were from long departed family members. I had been told that PSA sandpaper on glass or granite was the way to go. Even though this sandpaper was marketed as wet or dry, it refused to wet with water. The water would just roll off. I ended up using mineral oil and it worked just fine and the glue was not affected by it at all. That did, however, make the process a little more messy. I dont have any reference point, but it seemed to me that the paper wore out quite quickly. With just some small nicks on the chisel, I still had to change paper several times (180 grit) to get the surface in shape. Maybe another brand or the traditional black wet/dry paper would have been no different. I cannot say. I will say that overall, the experience was much better than the whet stones I was first attempting to use. I dont know if my expectations were too high or not. Just trying to be honest...

> 3 dayThe sandpaper is not the most durable but it’s easy to use and the adhesive back is great for positioning it.

Greater than one weekI saw this product on one of Paul Sellers woodworking videos. I wanted to use the product for my sharpening and the self adhesive back would help with slipping. As it turns out, the adhesive is fabulous. It holds the paper to a flat surface vey well and then easily peels off without a residue. Someone put a lot of work into that adhesive. The paper holds its sharpness for several uses. Of course the product is not as sharp as the first use but remains very usable after vacuuming or brushing the surface clean. Additionally, I love the slit to width form factor and the variable length of the roll. Great product. Im hooked for life.
