I just used one 80 grit pad to sand off epoxy and to fare teak on a’ deck hatch (pictured), using my vacuum sander. It’s still sharp and cutting after a nearly half an hour of use. While teak is soft, this is still impressively long lived paper. The holes line up, the hook and loop backing is still well adhered, and the paper itself is heavier than many competitors products. I will be buying these again.

So glad I found this here. Its getting harder and harder to buy them anywhere and I love my old sander.

Its a good paper should be shipped with a moister trap to keep the paper moister free for future use. Bill

I love this sandpaper and it really is as good as 3m or any of the other top brands and as long as they keep the price down I will definitely keep using

Faced with a porch-full of fir posts with a failed oil finish, I was making no progress with a 5 random orbital sander with heavy grit paper. I was about to fall back on my trusty old belt sander, but do not use that enough to guarantee I would not leave gouges. That sander would also leave a LOT of work in making joints match the easy-to-sand middle portions. I decided to have one last try, using a 6 sander. I got the sander and looked for coarse paper. Not under 60 grit was available locally. Then I found this online. As long as I kept changing sheets, it cut the old finish neatly in FAR less time than I had been taking with the 5 sander. Important to note: the paper was dull enough to NOT cut the finish FAR before my fingers said it had lost its tooth! On wood without that deep, nasty finish, this paper could cut effectively until it DID feel like it was dull. This is a GREAT alternative to taking a belt sander to a porch post! It is especially effective used with the 1/4 setting on a Ridgid 6 sander with a small Ridgid vacuum pulling dust through a small Dust Deputy. Ill likely try other Dura-Gold products in the future.

I would give negative stars if I could. This stuff is absolutely useless if it gets the slightest bit damp (it falls apart). The sand bonded to the paper dulls immediately and clogs. I have been doing this for a long time and this is the worst quality da paper Ive ever used. I bought a second box just to make sure it wasnt a bad production run and it was just as bad as the first. Do not buy this garbage, spend the extra couple of bucks on higher quality.
