> 3 dayThe light sensor on our lamp post failed and the replacement from HD or Lowes costs between $15 to $18 before tax. I searched for the replacement but found these bulbs instead. I tried them and they are bright, and works fine. We bought two sets of these and replaced all the outdoor bulbs with these. Now we have lights from dusk to dawn, and dont have to worry about a thing. My mom loves them because when she comes home at night, these bulbs lights up drive way and yard. We will definitely buy some more for the backyard too.

> 3 dayBefore I wanted to buy a whole light with sensor, now that I found the bulbs with a sensor, it makes the whole thing that much easier. I keep the outside light on and the bulbs turn on when its dark and turn off when its light outside. Brilliant, love it!

Greater than one weekThese bulbs REALLY light up the area. I had a smart switch that used to turn my porch and garage lights on at dusk and off at dawn, but the switch had a mind of its own, so to speak, and decided to only work 6 months of the year. Couldnt decipher it, so got these bulbs to take the place of the switch and had the stupid smart switch (LOL!) replaced with a regular one. These 100 Watt equivalent bulbs are, perhaps a little too bright so Ive bought some others with a lower wattage equivalence to try out, but no regrets whatsoever for buying these. They do exactly what is promised. Screw them into the socket and forget it. Yay!
