> 24 hourWOW - Good quality substrate at a great price - what more could You ask? Arrives in one bag with 2 substrates bagged separately inside of it (which is nice as You can mix or tailor it to your liking). Bark is actually really decent, not dusty and busted up like most of the stuff from the Big Box Pet Stores. Definitely a 5-star for Value and Quality!

> 24 hourLooking at the photos, which is always hard to judge size, I thought there would be more included in the bag. The moss is compressed which was amazing. The bark and moss came in separately sealed bags, but the pine bark was very thin and broke open as I was removing it. At this point, I was very glad the bag wasnt as big as I was expecting because I was cleaning bark off my carpet. The moss is nice, but it doesnt hold the moisture like I was hoping for. It could be the type of moss and I am no moss expert, but I was hoping I could soak it and have it hold moisture. The bark chunks are fairly large and I know they are supposed to be Pine, but they seem to splinter and cause slivers more than I expected Pine to do. I ended up not using the bark in my Ball Pythons cage, but did spread some of the moss around for looks and to add to the substrate a little. I would NOT call this an adequate substrate for any reptile, but I would classify it as an add in product to a good substrate.

> 24 hourMy juvenile dessert tortoise likes to hide when she sleeps. This material provided plenty of good fluff for her to bury herself with. This was perfect as it allowed her to quickly settle into her nightly routine and tuck herself in. However, its absorbent properties are not compatible with a reptile that pees a lot. My tortoise does. Unfortunately, it does not have a lot of absorbent capabilities, which means, if my little girl relieved herself before I had a chance to take her outside, the substrate is pretty much ruined and needs replacing. Hence the reason for the 4 stars. If your reptile does not pee much, this would be perfect as it allows them to make little hiding places.

> 24 hourWe are using this Bark/Moss Substrate & Bedding for our Outdoor Terrarium that houses our Eastern Box Turtle. Her name is Yoshi. She actually enjoys hiding out in the mossy part in the afternoon & in the morning you will find her sunning out on the bark portion of the substrate catching some sun rays. I would say this Particular Mixture was a GREAT combination for our Turtle. I can say this Substrate/Bedding is 100% AUTHENTIC & REAL. (What you see in my photos is nothing but this Substrate of Moss & Bark) I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!

> 24 hourPerfect substrate for my baby turtle. Seems the moss was dried in layers for being able to pull sections easily. Laid the bark down then soaked the amount of moss I needed. Soaked for about 3-5mins and was good to go, pull apart as needed. Moss was clean and very soft.

> 24 hourMy bearded dragon and ball Python love digging around in this stuff. You really don’t need to wet it because they walk/slither around in their water and get it wet all on their own so it creates the extra humidity they like. I think it will really help with the shedding process too.
