Totally useless! I changed out my old cap tops for these and they didn’t fit properly. They let air get to the heads and I had to wait a week to get new cap tops from another company! Meanwhile, both of my printer heads dried out! One of them allowed ink to flow thru but the other didn’t! I knew they didn’t fit as soon as I turned the printer back on and did a cleaning. I had no choice to keep them on and hope the heads didn’t dry out before my new ones came in. Both of my printer heads are dried out now and it will cost hundreds for me to get a tech to come fix my machine now!

Sponge is cheap and much more porous, rubber seal wasnt 100% lined up. Find another one because these arent worth it.

they work, not as good as roland ones, vinyl tube breaks easily when you try to remove

We had print heads failing, so I order these caps again. They worked the last time we ordered them. This time they did not work. I thought the print heads where bad, so I called in a tech. The tech replaced the caps with Roland Caps and the print heads came back.

Didnt work at all, Lines are to soft to pull ink

New Solvent Resistant Cap Top for Roland, Mimaki, and Mutoh Printers with Epson DX4 printhead . These devices (1) prevent the print head from drying out when parked, and (2) they assist in priming/sucking out ink from the head. Cleaning the print head will be prevented and suction will be lost if the rubber around the cap top is bent, brittle, or dirty. This will result in misfiring and print head clogging. Regularly inspect the Cap Tops and replace when necessary
