> 24 hourI dont know how long I have had my Dyson for (maybe 5+ years), but I eventually could not get the filter clean. We have a very dusty house and two dogs so the vacuum works hard. I could not believe how powerful the vacuum was once I changed the filter! I will be replacing it every few years from now on. (PS, replacing the vacuum filter is not something that I ever knew about as I learned to be an adult!)

> 24 hourI ordered a filter directly from Dyson. It came without the tailcap decal, and was slightly more difficult (took more force) to install on our V10 than the original. This, ordered via Amazon, is exactly the same, so I have confidence it IS a Dyson OEM filter. Performance seem to be the same as the original filter supplied with the vacuum.

> 24 hourGoing back to the OEM filter made suge a huge improvement in the V10 performance, I will never use anything but the OEM filter ever again. All prior issues are now resolved once I stopped using cheap knick off brands!

> 24 hourMy house is home to dogs and cats and kids and elderly. As such, I vacuum (love, love, love my Dysart!) frequently. Once the filter needs to be washed, it takes 24 hours for it to dry before it can be reinserted into the vacuum. With a back-up filter, I can vacuum even if the original filter is still damp from being cleaned.

> 24 hourMy dyson was vibrating and not holding a charge. Someone told me the filter was probably dirty and needed replaced. So I replaced with this filter and it works like new. So glad I listened.

> 24 hourI have bought aftermarket filters before, so I wanted to get a new, genuine Dyson filter. I placed the order, but somehow the order was accidentally cancelled by seller. I contacted seller via Amazon and the confusion was resolved. Seller requested that I place another order and he would make sure that the filter was shipped. I delayed on reordering due to life getting in the way. And then, a box showed up with the filter! The seller had sent it at no cost due to the confusion and asked that I edit my initial review about cancellation. I tried the filter on. It did not fit well. It was very tight and I had to forcefully put it on. I emailed the seller to confirm that it was a genuine Dyson filter as there weren’t any issues with the old one and no stickers like the old one (and I noticed a few other reviews questioning the genuine filter). The seller confirmed that it was indeed a Dyson filter and that it would be a tight fit in order to create a better seal. So, my biggest suggestion would be to sellers: Include a small piece of paper or a sticker on the box stating: “In order to create a better seal, please be advised that the fit of the new filter will be much tighter than the old filter.” This small bit of information would provide the buyer with the necessary information about the way the new filter will fit and would probably help to alleviate or even eliminate any returns for “wrong product” or “bad fit”. The seller was quick to respond to my questions and went above and beyond to help get the product to me. I hope that I did not offend him by my questions. Attached are pictures of the box, my original Dyson filter, the new Dyson filter and my old aftermarket filter. Note the lack of customer service phone number sticker or large diagram sticker. But there is a QR sticker and a washing diagram on the original AND the new OEM filters. Communication would benefit both parties.

> 24 hourWho knew there was dust and dirt in West Texas? We bring it in, the dog brings it in. It just happens. So we replace the filters often. Good as new, Dyson woks like the first day. Thanks for having the filters!
