Not much to say, my original was cracked so we tried this. It fit perfectly so it was a great buy.

This replacement part was a genuine Dyson piece that works perfectly.

The latch catch on the bottom flap is a wear item, so its nice that Dyson offers an affordable replacement. Original lasted nearly 5 years. This was an OEM Dyson part that was less expensive than buying it from the dyson website. Its super easy to replace.

The cannister fit perfectly on my V8 animal, and I purchased it at a great price.

Dyson is the brand I trust. I have 4 dogs and this is was to replace a cracked canister only Dyson Stick Animal. Durability could be a bit better, but overall, I am happy that I can find affordable replacement parts instead of having to spend another 400+ bucks to buy a whole new unit.
