Dyson Hose, Internal Dc41

Our hose split and we purchased this replacement. Like brand new now.

Arrived as described and fits a dyson dc-41. No instructions included, I just googled and followed a youtube video to install it, but it works as well as before.

The product works great it’s just like the original so don’t waste money on getting stain parts these work and fit exactly the same

Exact fit replacement and Dyson made product. I was concerned at first because I have an older model Up13 Ball and didn’t know if this would fit, but it does and fits a variety of other models. The install wasn’t too difficult as there are videos out there with this exact part, but it does help to have snap ring pliers.

This was very difficult to install, but a video on YouTube was helpful.

The part was perfect and watching video how to do it. Take pictures as you go along and keep screws separated.

Maybe mine was assembled slightly off, but to attach the hose, you are required to align the fitting at the end of the replacement hose to the internal fitting of the vacuum. For me, this didnt line up, either the top portion was misaligned, or the bottom, however you want to look at it. Either way, I was forced to twist the hose, which put additional strain/wear on the replacement part.

I needed an internal hose replacement after the red tab on my original hose broke off. I looked at several replacement internal hoses, which are hard to find, and decided on this one. It fits and works perfectly. It is a bit of a tricky fix. I found a tutorial on YouTube and was able to make the swap. There are a couple different videos. Make sure to find the one around 20 minutes, as the 10 minute video only covers removing the old part and not re-installing. Also, make sure to keep the tiny screw from the original internal hose because the new hose doesnt include one. After replacing, my vacuum works better than when new. I used to have to use a lot of force to get the vacuum back into the upright position. Now the handle locks back into place with minimal pressure. Im very happy with this.
