> 3 dayHeadphones do not get picked up by this audio jack. I have to press the male end into the jack very hard to just get static. Maybe mine is faulty but I do not recommend this product. Would have been better off with the original jack that I replaced.

> 3 dayThe jack was Not new as stated, it had lint inside of it and the contacts were corroded. As I already had the phone open I tried to clean it and use it, but it turned out to be defective anyway. had to get another jack form another source. if they are going to try to pull off selling used junk, they need to at least CLEAN it and test it.

> 3 dayThe mic did not work after fitting I had to bend the tiny mic connector out a bit, the outermost contact, then it worked ok. Did not expect to have to do this with a new part.

> 3 dayEasy to install but definitely recommend buying a back cover glass too. They break on removal.

Greater than one weekThis was worse than the one I replaced. This one broke within a week. The stock S7 headphone jack lasted nearly two years. Very low quality product.

> 3 dayRe-Review: Initially it seemed like it was working properly but there is some type of grounding issue with the jack. People had issues hearing me when using a phone w/mic due to all the feed back and if charging you can hear a ton of noise. I ended up buying a used OEM part from ebay and it fixed all my issues.

> 3 dayMy Samsung Galaxy S7 was only playing sound out of the left headphone. I tried compressed air, tape on a paperclip, and a Q-tip to clean out the 3.5 mm port, but still had no sound on the right side. This replacement headphone jack did the trick! Im enjoying stereo bliss once again. The replacement part is truly an exact fit and seems to be of equal quality to the original (actually, I guess the original didnt last too long, so hopefully it proves to be better). A warning, though. The hardest part about this job is dismantling the phone. Theres an ifixit video that you can google, but just know most people will not be comfortable doing this repair. It requires a heat gun, a special suction cup tool, and some picks to remove the glued-on, fragile, glass back cover. Once removed the rest of the disassembly is pretty easy. Installing this replacement part was literally a snap. Getting the back cover glued back on is also challenging because I havent been able to find a good replacement adhesive gasket. Ive removed the back cover on my phone 3 times now (once to remove the cameras, once to replace the battery, and now for this job). The truth is, Ive never found a perfect solution for gluing the back cover back on and the water resistance is greatly affected. These are things to keep in mind if you choose to buy this part and do the job yourself. This is a good solution for me because this is my secondary work phone.
