Installation is a pain but thats just the nature of the repair. This antenna has saved me hundreds that I would have to pay to have it fixed at a repair shop. It works perfectly and now my GPS and WiFi works like it did before. PS. make sure to have a good tool set.

Id been having problems with the GPS and Bluetooth on my iPhone 6. Bluetooth signal was poor, and putting the phone in my pocket meant static or a total drop of Bluetooth headphones. GPS reception stopped working completely, and WiFi range was very limited. It turns out that two of the connectors on my antenna cable had deteriorated, and no longer locked onto the connection points on the main board. This part fit perfectly, and now my phone is back to normal. Bluetooth and WiFi range are greatly extended, and GPS works reliably. If youre going to do this replacement, take your time. Be careful and label each screw and part as you remove it. If youre diligent about keeping the parts straight, this is not a tough repair to do and it makes a world of difference.

Good quality antenna. Snapped right into place and solved the low WiFi signal issue. I recommend:) If you don’t have experience with really small components. Bring it to someone who does!

This fixed my GPS problem. Just be aware that this is major iPhone surgery and the components are extremely small. A magnifying glass or loop would be useful unless you have hawk eyes.

The GPS on my iPhone 6 had stopped working. It would only give a general location, instead of a very specific one. I read on-line about this antenna, and decided to give it a go. The price was good, and I had very little to lose. I followed the procedures to replace the antenna at iFixit, and managed to keep track of all the screws and parts during disassembly. (I recently purchased a silicone soldering mat which has lots of little wells to put screws into. It helped tremendously to keep the screws in order for reassembly.) When I got the logic board out, I found that the existing antenna had disconnected one of its connectors, so I am sure that I found the problem in my phone. However, I was not lucky. Instead of the connector coming loose, the entire connector had broken free from the logic board. The center piece of the connector was missing altogether, and at any rate I do not have the tools to re-solder the connector to the board. So I did not get a chance to install the new antenna, and my phone still does not have GPS. I was careful putting the parts back together, and everything else still seems to work as it did. The WiFi flex circuit that I received arrived in excellent condition, and when I inspected the original part side-by-side with the new one, the parts looked to be made of identical components, and the quality on the replacement looked equal to the original part. I am quite sure that if my phone did not have a broken connector that this part would have most likely fixed my issue.

I was having problems with my GPS on my iPhone 6. I replaced this part and it worked great for 10 days. I would not recommend going through the hassle.
