The bulbs I replaced were halogen. I didnt think of it at the time but after having both the LED and the former halogen bulbs in there I realized that LEDs dont produce heat like halogens. So, that was a nice bonus. When you put something in the back of the refrigerator right next to the bulb, you will actually warm the product with the halogen bulbs. The product page also explained how to verify that you are getting the right bulb, which was helpful. You must be 100% sure which bulb base your fridge uses before you purchase. This is important. Check and double check the size of whats in there with what youre buying to save everyone the frustration.

These bulbs are bright. They are similar to daylight bright. The light is clear and crisp. I put them in my range hood and they really wake you up in the morning. Otherwise they provide great light for dinner cooking. They could also be used in ceiling lights, the refrigerator or other small spaces where light is essential. They have the E17 base which is smaller than the regular E26 standard bulb. So they only work certain places. The bulbs have a clear cover over the LEDs that makes them waterproof. I like knowing that if I accidentally splash something on them while I am cooking they won’t short out. Also the clear cover helps you keep your fingers off of the LEDs when you are screwing them in. I would like these bulbs better if they were dimmable since I have that function on my range hood. They work fine for me though. Most LED bulbs are significantly higher priced than regular incandescent bulbs and these are no exception. However these bulbs come in a 2 pack which helps. The product page indicates that these bulbs will last 20,000 hours. I don’t know how long these bulbs really will last but they work great right now. I recommend them.

REALLY bright. I wish I would have gotten the dimmable kind, but thats my bad. These are so bright. I can finally see what Im cooking on the stove.

I found out that no local store sold these had no choice but to purchase through amazon bit it was a good by works perfectly werent broken on arrival just as described
