My partner and I are fly fishers. We go out in canoes, kayaks and stand in the middle of small rivers. I read all the reviews and ordered 2 of the 10L bags (in the earth green color) straight away and put them both to use the day after they arrived. I was able to stow quite a bit of gear in mine that I normally put in various spots through out my kayak, thus freeing up those spots for their actually intention. It fit perfectly under my bow and did not move around at all. And when someone in are fishing party was being funny and tried and tip either of us, for once we were not concerned about phones or the first aid kit getting wet and able to fight back. We also went on a hike and I took my bag with us. Again, a fair about of gear went in the bag, plus things along the way my grandson got tired of carrying. I let out the shoulder strap all the way and hiked with it cross body without any hassle. The only concern I had doing this was the strap did dig in a bit and I had to use a bandana for a little padding on my shoulder. But it is summer and I think had I had a tee shirt on instead of tank top, that might not have been a concern at all.
