Greater than one weekThis solder is perfect for many uses around the home. I used it to install my water conditioner, to repair a leaking pipe under the sink, and I use it in reloading. The price and quality was outstanding.

Greater than one weekThis works well for soft soldering, like in the (wonderful) book, Soldered Alchemy. Its nice and thick, which is good for that process, and flows well. Once I get more experienced at soft soldering I might try different lead-free solders, but Id hate to try something else and be disappointed, so for now Ill continue using this. If anyone reading this has had success making soft-soldered jewelry with a different solder, maybe one that contains some silver, let me know!

> 3 dayWas afraid this would melt too early, like some posted, but i had zero issues with my whole house filter joints. no leaks using simple propane torch. Lead free. And i like the idea that its water soluble, to reduce corrosion.

> 3 dayThe only reason it got four instead of five stars is the price but even with that they still beat the competition the solder is smooth flows well not real heat sensitive as that it has to be exact I have used with and without a rheostat

> 3 dayI already had lead-free silver solder, but needed to solder copper pipe to a brass fitting. The lower melting point was helpful for a sometimes plumber like me.
