Finally getting tired of using a keyboard for games on my PC, I gave this EasySMX controller a whirl. Whether connecting wirelessly or through a USB cord, getting up and running with this controller was a breeze. It didnt matter if I was playing on an emulator or a dedicated PC game or a Scummvm port, the controller was effortlessly compatible. I was already impressed, but most shockingly, I plugged the EasySMX into my Nintendo Switch and it started right up! Since I mostly got it for the PC this is just icing on the cake, but its definitely a nice bonus (note that the button layout is based on the Xbox controller, so the A/B and X/Y buttons are inverted from where you might be used to on a Nintendo controller, but this is customizable). The controller makes use of a USB dongle so if you prefer Bluetooth you might want to look elsewhere, but especially for the price this is a great item.

So-far this controller works great. Its plug & play on Fedora 37 so I would assume its the same on other Linux distros too. So if you plan on gaming with Linux, I would really recommend this one for sure!

The controller stopped working after two weeks. I can’t even return bc I threw away the box. It had a small amount of lag when I first got it. Slowly it started developing a issue with one of the trigger on the bottom. Sometimes it gets stuck or something it doesn’t even work. I’ve never dropped it and I maybe put 16 hours on it. Stay away from it.

Quality made, buttons are not hard to press, easily installed to use on gaming computer. Better then others I have tried in the past. Good value and durable.

I use this for my PC; I play some games with it on Steam and on my emulators. It was easy to set up; Ive not ran into any software issues. I tested it on my my two computers: one with Windows 7 and the other, Windows 11 Home. It works without issues for both systems. Its comfortable to hold; its not too light and doesnt feel fragile. The buttons and sticks are responsive and not loose. I would recommend this to anyone who prefers to play PC games with a controller. I am considering getting a second one for multiplayer purposes. For its price, I would say this simple controller is worth it.

This controller works well, has a very cool design, and connects easily enough to various consoles, computers, and devices. The shape is nice, and its comfortable to hold. Buttons and triggers are softer than the Xbox first-party, but feel a bit more responsive than some other third-party controllers out there. Sticks seem to be reliable and they are very comfortable to use. Its a good controller, as third party controllers go. Five stars.

I am new to game controllers, as I’ve never used an Xbox, Nintendo or whatever. I’m in my 60s. My kids had all these games. I had Myst and its follow ons. Played them on my computer, so I never learned my way around a controller.

No latency, great battery...just an all around solid controller.

A great controller, the only issue I found with it is when you are trying to aim in a FPS the joystick seems choppy due it to being stiff. I think after a few days of play they might loosen up.
