As mentioned in other reviews. The support mount hole center to center does not match the hood hole mounting locations. will require elongating or slotting mounting holes.

Quality is terrible. There is a very small, tack weld that holds the clevis on the cylinder. VERY small. Any side load (the bracket that holds pivot pin is offset by design) will break this weld. My first one broke, was extra careful installing 2nd. Dont expect it to last long. I have installed literally dozens of these support cylinders, these are hands down the poorest quality I have dealt with.

Holes for retaining screws not factory identical to original part. Required vice, drill to open up holes to allow installation. Major engineering efforts! Recommend buying a genuine Honda part, not this cheap imitation. I only used this part because I didn’t want to go through a third replacement. The first one ordered was no delivered because it was damaged in the shipping process.
