I have to clue what surface lurks in the wall for this area, its not drywall, brick, cinder block, wood, or lathe and plaster. The house it 100 years old and the wall in front of the fireplace is some type of hard plaster. Its stayed up for almost a year. Unlike the built in level. I subtract one star because the locking mechanism on top is too easy to accidentally push, this happened several times while trying to put up the TV. Thankfully there was the mantle under it so it was damaged but still usable.

So far so good ! Hold my 65 inch up just fine ! The leveler on mine was slightly off but good thing I had an extra set of hands and eyes to help install mount on the wall! So worth the money. I dont know how the removal of it will be there when need be.

I WAS SUPER SKETCHED OUT AT FIRST SEEING THE NAILS AND NO ANCHORS! Knowing i have hallow walls in my living room, me and my fiancée didnt think this would work. IT WORKS!!!! This mount is so convenient since the level is built in with a press down lock and unlock mechanism for the wall bracket. I paired this product with a 65” M Series 4K TV with Soundbar and backlights.. SO FIRE!!!!

If you’re looking to hang up a TV on the wall, look no further! No need to find studs! Easiest install ever! I bought this after struggling to find the studs in the wall for another mount. I wish I had bought this one sooner. I was getting charged $300 to mount my 65 inch tv and with this I saved a lot of money.

I had heard this type to tv wall mount would be easy to install and sturdy to mount a TV so I thought I would give it a try. I received it in a couple of days and read the directions. There was a caution that when nailing in the wall if you hit metal, contact Echogear for support. I was concerned because I have metal wall studs and according to my stud finder, I would be hitting two of these. I proceeded with my install. All nails went in flawlessly. Honestly, after you put the first two nails in to ensure level, the rest are a breeze. I did confirm with another level because the one included might be off at times because the level can move. Now I only needed to support an 18 pound TV so I was not worried about it holding, but I can tell that it would support quite a bit more weight. Go for it. You wont be disappointed!

Super happy with this. I bought it to hang a 32” TCL Roku TV in our home gym. Ridiculously easy to install - exactly as described. No drilling required. No pilot holes trying to find studs. One of those rare instances where the product does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Took me like 10 or 15 minutes. Not exaggerating. Feels sturdy. Definitely not worried about the TV going anywhere. Can’t beat it for the price. I’ll prob buy another for the bedroom.

I believe this is the best alternative to the traditional TV mount. I use this one for my bedroom and I can say its does what it suppose to do. Its super simple to install and setup.

Weve put so many holes in the walls of our apartment, and we have metal studs. Previously, our 42 LG was just on a stand on a credenza, but we decided putting it on the wall was the best solution to some reorganizing we were doing. Attaching to a stud was going to be an issue, and didnt want to make more large holes because we arent going to be here much longer. This thing is brilliantly designed! The part you attach to the wall has an integrated level, and installation only really required a hammer and screwdriver. The packaging was actually unexpectedly impressive too. And price-point was perfect—low, but now so low that I have no trust in the integrity of the product. I too often find myself giving reviews only when I have something bad to say but in this case, a solid WELL DONE!

I am shocked how good this thing worked… I was extremely skeptical and scared as hell..lol… I would have lost it if my 65” Alexa Smart TV touched the ground. These have held both my tvs perfectly though. Every room in my home has one now. MUST BUY!!

This would have been 5 stars, but the built-in level wasnt level! It was so easy to set up, but when we were ready to put the nails in it was obvious that the left side of the bracket was too low and it wasnt level. We used our own level on top of the mounting bar and that solved the problem. Besides that, it is sturdy and easy to install, just double check the level before final mounting.
