> 3 dayI purchased this product, actually 2 of them, a couple of months ago. Installation was quick and very straight forward and simple. However, it was a two person job to mount the TVs only because of the large size of the TV and inability to see behind the set. It cannot be merely lowered onto the mount. Do NOT rely on the level integrated into the product. Use a standard carpenters level to be accurate. The locking mechanism, which engages when you pushidown by reaching over the top of the TV, engages if you try to lower the TV the onto the bracket (and then prevents the TV from engaging). Its easier to line it up from the side and put it into position. Takes less than a minute. Because of the length of the bracket, it is likely that you will hit a stud of other obstruction. Wood studs would not be an issue, butI have metal studs and one of the nails would not penetrate it. Customer service was friendly, sent a new set of nails but could not recommend any solution since for liability all they could offer that the product had to be installed with all of the nails. Their only suggestion was to move it. Hence 4 stars instead of 5.

> 3 dayI really like how easy this was to install. My TV was quite heavy for me to lift and “hook” because I was unable to align the hook on the TV to the bar on the wall for quite some time. After a while, it finally hooked in place. I highly recommend this product and it saved me from having to pay $75 for TV mounting...$40 did the trick.

> 3 dayI had used a similar mount which my son purchased at Walmart and was very skeptical that this type of mount would work. His TV was 47 and did not weigh much. I was surprised how well it worked and when he moved and needed to take down the TV it was very easy (just remove the nails) and only pin holes were left in the wall. I had purchased a new 65 TV and figured I would use the same mount he had purchased, but the mount only supported TVs which were up to 50 and weighed no more than 80 lbs. I started searching and came upon the Echogear model. According to the specs it would work with my TV. I loved the idea of a built in level and lock mechanism. I did most of the work myself and only needed someone to hold the mount in order for me to put in the first two screws and again when lifting the TV onto the mount. I would highly recommend this product. It is sturdy, easy to install and leaves only tiny nail holes in the wall.

23-11-2024I just moved into an apartment and wanted to hang my 55 Flat Screen TV to a wall. I dont have a stud finder and didnt know what to do until I saw this hanger. Its very easy to use. The built-in level made it easy to ensure a level installation. And my TV is solidly attached to the wall. The slight tilt (top to bottom) is not noticeable and helps with glare. The only thing I suggest is that you have a long, thin item to use for setting the locking mechanism as it ends up being near the center of the TV and hard to reach.

> 3 dayThis tv mount is so much easier than any mount I’ve ever used. If you have drywall all you need is a hammer. I will never buy a different tv mount again.
