22-11-2024I purchased this product, actually 2 of them, a couple of months ago. Installation was quick and very straight forward and simple. However, it was a two person job to mount the TVs only because of the large size of the TV and inability to see behind the set. It cannot be merely lowered onto the mount. Do NOT rely on the level integrated into the product. Use a standard carpenters level to be accurate. The locking mechanism, which engages when you pushidown by reaching over the top of the TV, engages if you try to lower the TV the onto the bracket (and then prevents the TV from engaging). Its easier to line it up from the side and put it into position. Takes less than a minute. Because of the length of the bracket, it is likely that you will hit a stud of other obstruction. Wood studs would not be an issue, butI have metal studs and one of the nails would not penetrate it. Customer service was friendly, sent a new set of nails but could not recommend any solution since for liability all they could offer that the product had to be installed with all of the nails. Their only suggestion was to move it. Hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Person to Person Reviews
> 3 dayI liked everything about this wall mount (for drywall). Its a brilliant concept that makes life so much easier. The wall where I needed to hang my 55 TV had the studs in the wrong place, so to speak. Using a more traditional mount that required affixing the brackets to studs would have ended up making the TV well off center in the intended space. But this mount designed for drywall mounting was the perfect solution and I have confidence in it, even though I live in earthquake land. It was a breeze to assemble and mount, thanks to excellent (and humorous) instructions that made me smile. There is also a video available. This is a company with PERSONALITY and they dont mind showing it. The parts were sturdy, well made, and of highest quality, despite a very competitive price. You need not be a handyman or handywoman to complete the installation. If you can hammer nails, and read a level (BUILT IN to the rail), you can put this up on your wall in a few minutes. Note that it is recommended to have someone help lift the TV onto the bracket, and I agree. Its can be done solo, but no sense in risking it unless youre fairly strong, not height-challenged, and have a long reach. The principle of why this wall mount works is simple physics--the angle of the nails driven into the wall, and the angle of the bracket compensates for the weight of the TV. By the way, they also include hardware for mounting to wood or cement. They really thought of everything.

> 3 dayTHIS WALL MOUNT IS SO EASY TO INSTALL I CAN DO IT BLINDFOLDED. WITH ALL OF THE NAILS THAT YOU HAVE TO HAMMER IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO NOT GET A STUD UPON INSTALLING. IT IS QUITE STURDY AS MY 43 IN TV HAS BEEN HANGING ON IT FOR OVER A WEEK WITH NO ISSUES. I WILL BE BUYING THIS AGAIN FOR A SECONDARY TV ONCE I BUY THE TV LOL. OVERALL GREAT PRODUCT FOR PPL WHO ARE INEXPERIENCED WITH TV WALL MOUNTING.

> 3 dayWorked awesome. It’s been holding up for 3 days. First impression, it was small and I thought that there’s no way this is going to hold on my drywall, but whoever engineered this really did the math, cuz it’s still up and it works. I have a 70” TV.

> 3 dayLike others said I was kind of skeptical. The level on the item is pretty far off so use your own. For extra support I used 2 screws in the other holes into anchored drywall. Just in case. Otherwise easy to install and hang.
