Nice working pace

This tap broke before I finished one hole . I’ve only broke 2 other taps in 22 years In trades and both of those had tapped countless holes and were extremely well used so this thing really missed the mark . Im also stuck trying to remove low quality broken tap from my part

The tap is HSS; however, the die is not HSS and is soft with many attached machining millers on the threads.

Item as described and worked flawlessly. Would buy again if need be.

HSS tap & die set

I just got this today and used it to see if I could fix a rotor that had a broken stud. The stud was drilled out already. Before I could get through two of the flutes broke on the ends so now it wont go in straight. So for me its more of a one time use. You mileage may vary.

Tap worked ok die busted second time using it to chase threads on flywheel bolts.

More tools for the garage. I had a stripped mount bolt and nut for my 4Runner steering rack, this solved the problem without having to buy new bolts, nuts etc.

Worked well and held up to the metal I tapped.
