> 24 hourI bought one of these and when I went to clamp down on it the spring got twisted and stuck closed rendering the cheap product un useable. Get a box blade or an exacto knife. much more useful and less expensive.

> 24 hourThis edge band trimmer cleanly cut 1/2, 3/4, 1-1/2, and 2 edge banding on plywood and poplar boards. Im trimming edging for 19 windows, all but 4 windows are 6x4, and also baseboards, door trim, and plinth blocks. It took me a little practice to figure out how to hold the double-cut trimmer to get the perfectly relieved edges I wanted. It required adjustment of the angled blades on the good side of the trim. Relieved edges take paint better than squared edges. For the 1/2 fillets and 2 plinth blocks, I separated the trimmer and trimmed one side of the board at a time. When the blades failed, it happened quickly. The blades needed changing out after around 400 feet of edging was completed. Luckily, the trimmer came with one extra set of blades. I had just replaced the blades in the photo, thus the trimmer is in two parts. I highlighted the arrows with black marker to more easily see the trimming direction and for ease of reassembling the trimmer parts. Now I need to learn how to get additional blade set replacements. I have A LOT of trim yet to be edged.

> 24 hourThe concept is good, but its not smooth when cutting and tears more than it sheers. I had tear out that should not be happening all down the edge using this tool. I feel like I get a better cut with a spoon. I will say the concept of it is well thought out, but none of that matters if it does not perform the way it should.

> 24 hourConstantly rips the edge banding instead of cutting. I ended up just being very careful with a razor blade.

> 24 hourDidnt work for me. Hard to close and sticks on release. Does seems to work if everything is perfectly lined up. Needs 2 springs, it has the slots for it. Or, maybe mine came with only one. Definitely think it would work better with 2 springs. Didnt cut all that well, so I didnt bother inquiring about another spring. Shouldve been there to start with...

> 24 hourNot a flush finish. Kinda hard to use. It might be operator error thats why its not lower rating.

> 24 hourVery practical but result is not very good. It does not cut smooth and rips and tears often. Maybe is used error but I am getting better results with a box cutter.

> 24 hourI bought this to trim melamine and wood banding. Performance was terrible, causing tear out and uneven cutting. Instead I used a sharp utility knife which worked much better. I returned the item.
