> 24 hourEven with a 12 vdc supply it was not as bright as I thought it would be. Color seems to be closer to blue than violet .I am trying to replace smd led in inflatable Halloween decoration which was closer to violet ( according to manufacturer “blacklight”.) For some reason uv lighting does not last long. I can verify that as original smd leds are getting dimmer each year. Otherwise they are a good buy if your not concerned about the uv intensity.

> 24 hourSo I ordered these LEDs because they come pre-wired with the resistor which is very nice. These LEDs work fine at 9 volt up to 13 volts. I would not recommend pushing past a 12-volt load. The reason why I deducted a star is I finally got my package in the mail 7 days after the guaranteed delivery date promised making me not have the LEDs I needed to finish a project and costing me future business from a source that was potentially very lucrative. Long story short the whole reason why I pay for Prime is for Prime delivery ( we all know that Prime streaming is absolute crap) and their delivery has been going downhill drastically over the last few months. At this point its gotten so bad that I cannot trust them to get me my items on time I have better luck going through eBay so thats whos going to be getting more and more of my business. P.s. this was an item that was fulfilled and shipped by Amazon.

> 24 hourI was ready to absolutely destroy this product in review. They ran super hot, failed often in cycles and were generally worthless to me. Well, that was my bad. I trusted the output power of 1Amp of my power source which means I should be able to line many in parallel up to (20ma X 50). My power source failed at simply two in parallel. That browned them out and caused them to fail. So, if youre going to use these be sure you have a solid power source. An automobile wont be an issue, but things like wall warts (plug in AC to DC converters) rated at a certain value are often not actually so powerful. The downsides of these are that hair stranded wire is very difficult to strip without damage. Look up wiring strain relief if you will be moving them or bouncing (like in a car). The other downside is the beam angle. It is very shallow and takes a lot of distance to truly spread out.

> 24 hourI now Have an arsenal or led lights that are user friendly and power efficient. It says these are 9 to 12volts DC , well yeah they are but the limits are 7volt DC the lowest and 13.7 DC volts max ..Im gonna stock up on these led lights because of how user friendly they are and how many you get per order. All colors are separated in separate containers that display the info for that group of lights. They have sturdy pre- spliced insulated wires , I say you cant go wrong Here. Thanks so much !

> 24 hourYou will need an 8 AA pack to power it or a large 9volt like the ones in Power Wheels.

> 24 hourGreat lights. If you need to increase the wire size find the size that works for final connection. Ex: Arduino board. Then solder that larger wire and the smaller wire together. Cover with heat shrink tubing.
