Efferdent Denture Cleanser - 252 Tablets

Good stuff!

Never knew that these denture tablets could really clean my hard plastic retainers! The process to doing this is you put your retainers in a tupperware or cup and fill it with water. Just drop these bad boys in and a few hours later, your retainers will be clean!

Been using it for years...standard in the market.

Great product that I consistently reorder. I only have one issue. They come in packs of six. But every other day I have to open a new one.

Set for a long while.

Works well for cleaning and sanitizing my water bottles and coffee cups... though remove any silicone and wash separately.. it tends to absorb the smell/flavor and is hard to get out.

I use this every night to clean my (nearly twenty year old) retainers that I wear a few nights each week. This is a great price and does the job well - you get two large boxes and, because I dont always remember to wear my retainers every night, this is pretty much a years supply.

I only gave this four stars as I have no idea whether it actually works well for its intended use (dentures). But I can tell you it works REALLY well on removing hard water stains in the toilet, tea stains in porcelain mugs, and for cleaning out reusable water bottles. Such a versatile product and very economical. Pleasant scent, too.

There are many partial and denture cleansers on the market and all seem to do what they claim. What attracted me to the Efferdent Denture Cleanser is the quantity at a fair price and I was able to include it with other items in my order. I have an upper partial and found that using the soaking cleansers is better than cleaning with a stiff partial or denture brush. If you feel you want to brush your partial or denture, use a separate toothbrush and brush with the cleanser before removing partial or dentures from solution. It works for me!

As a disclaimer, I do not use denture tabs on dentures. I use them to clean toilets (drop two tabs in bowl and let sit overnight, clean as usual in morning and they clean easier especially if you have hard water issues), and coffee mugs, etc. Great for stainless steel travel mugs (too narrow to scrub) free of coffee residue. I bought these after having wild success with 3 Min Polydent because they are cheaper and I figured they were probably all the same. I dont think so, and Im going back to what got me hooked on denture tabs (for cleaning!) in the first place. Things just seem to need more scrubbing after I use the tab with E than Poly. I can only imagine Id find the same to be true on actual dentures, lol.
