I really like how strong the magnet is. If the cotter pin were to fall out this pin stays in the hitch over bumps and doesn’t fall out.

This comes under the heading I never knew I needed it, now I dont know how I got along without it! A magnetic hitch pin seems like such a simple idea, I wish I had thought of it. My only concern was that it would bounce out as I ride the mower. I have some rough terrain and I tend not to let up, but it has held on fine. It comes with a cotter pin, but I havent used it. That would ensure that it didnt bounce out, but it would defeat the purpose of a magnetic hitch pin. Using it on my 5yr old Cub Cadet 1500 - 50 inch.
