Libro entretenido... me gustó bastante y ahora estoy leyendo otro de la misma serie...

John Grisham is an excellent writer and the translations of his novels to Spanish are well done - although idiomatic expressions like guay or cool are intended for non Latin American readers - it is not much of a barrier. There is no obscene language; they are intended for young readers but adults will also enjoy them. I give these six novels in the Theodore Boone series a GP, as together they touch on serious issues like alcoholism, domestic violence, an uncle who has served time in prison, undocumented population and their problems, and cheating on State sponsored Standard academic tests . The character Theodore Boone is extremely well developed and his case is unusual for a youngster, as he knows what he wants to be when he grows up. The scenes at the animal-tribunal where he acts as a lawyer are priceless. I could extol the value of these six novels all day. Tom Yerg
