Very handy for turning off Christmas tree lights. No need to get down on the floor to unplug tree lights.

We have used the green versions with holiday decorations but wanted a white cord AND a lighted step-on button, and we could not find them in the local stores (big box or otherwise). This product fit the bill. It is connected to the electric blanket that we use almost every night, so the button has been stepped on at least twice a day for about a week or so. So far it has worked every time. We are pleased with the purchase.

This item was purchased so that we could turn on both beside lamps at the same time. We use it for hand control, rather than foot control, and it works perfectly.

Works beautifully, sturdy, well made. I like that there is a light in it; when I come into the room at night, it is so nice to see where the button is to step on and voilá, fully lit tree. I will use it post Christmas for a room lamp that has a difficult knob for turning on and off. This will make turning it off and on much easier.

I think the visual industrial design is a bit, uh, campy. That said, its easy to see, easy to understand whether its off or on, and easy to use with a foot (which is my application). Perfectly suited to controlling a few power supplies on something I dont need to have on all the time. Ill probably buy more for other applications I have around. Great to have a footswitch where I dont need a surge protector.

No more stooping to plug in xmas decorations, love this, have 4 now.
