> 3 dayBought this a while back, and it looked exactly the same as the one on my system so I thought it was good. Went to put this on this morning, and discovered it doesnt slide onto the arm at all. Probably going to have to do some filing to get this to work. Hard to tell what exactly is not fitting, because they look identical by eye. Grrr.. UPDATE: I managed to file down the ridge inside the hole by about two tenths of a mm, and now it fits perfectly. Looks like a machining error is all, and Im back to printing!

> 3 dayI purchased this to replace my build plate on my Elegoo Mars 2 because the set screws no longer held the build plate steady. Its an even swap and the dimensions are identical. It came with a new knob with the elegoo logo engraved into it. It also has a better surface than the previous build plate. My old one was one piece all aluminum and the face of the plate was the same as the rest of the construction. On this version, there is a piece of white/silver aluminum on the face of the build plate with much more textured surface area and the adhesion is great. Its almost too good! Im having to work a little harder to free my models from the build plate now! This is literally plug in play. 1. Remove the old build plate and save or discard. (mine isn really salvageable so I had to toss it :( ) 2. Install the new build plate 3. Level the printer 4. Print! I was annoyed that I had to spend yet another $30 on this added to the long list of consumable parts on this printer (FEP, LCD), but this is actually a nice upgrade compared to the old one, and Im regretting it less now. Glad to get back up and running without much down time!
