> 24 hourThis is my second resin printer and I am so pleased with it. The quality of the prints are outstanding, the adhesion to the platform virtually flawless - I am so very pleased.

> 24 hourI only had one minor problem, the seal around the top comes off extremely easily, a couple dabs of CA glue fixes that right up. 8 month update: Down from 5 stars to 4 starts. First and foremost, the LCD just died on my, this is the reason why Im upgrading right now. However, a replacement is really easy to install and only costs $50. I got more life out of the LCD than advertised, its really not a problem. That being said, my biggest gripe about the printer is that its just way too small. An inch would really solve so many of the problems with this printer but then it might not be so damn affordable. If you want an entry level printer, its still wonderful (Ive also heard good things about the Mars 3), but if you want something that will still be good a year after getting into the hobby, Id spend a little more on something a little bigger.

> 24 hourStill learning to work the thing properly, theres a bit of a learning curve thats not as easy to overcome passively like filament printers due to the noxious chemicals and safety procedures involved, but thats resin printing. I want to rate it highly, though, because the company was super helpful. One of the supports broke off and fell into the vat, then the build plate pressed it into the screen, breaking it. Elegoo sent me a new screen and it was fairly easy to install, as have been most of the quality of life modifications Ive made to the machine as I learn more about it. Im at a stage now where Im not sure theres any reason to use any filament that isnt transparent, hopefully I at least have a chance of making stuff like that out.

> 24 hourIve been dreaming of getting a 3d printer for years and finally was about to buy my first one; this one. Ive been using it about a week now and it truly has blown me away with quality and ease of use. Packaging is next level and extremely high quality. Getting it setup was easy, although I dont have A4 paper so I had to trim some for the calibration. First print failed because I didnt shake the bottle. Shook the bottle the second time and it worked like a charm. Workflow and safety is important with these as resin is toxic. The included gloves worked great but do be sure to get nitrile gloves. The Mercury Wash and Cure station is also worth purchasing at the same time. Its also extremely high quality and it has made taking care of my prints very ease. This machine has given me the gift of a great new hobby. Printing my first useable object (tooth paste squeezer) got me hooked but the quality and detail on this is amazing. If you want one, think about treating yourself. Youll start to find a dozen uses for it.

> 24 hourStarted out great and worked fine. All of a sudden it started to not print anything. Everything is just gooey and melted. Have no clue what changed or happened. Very frustrating and Im just unhappy with my purchase. Cant tell if its the new order of resin I got from them thats a bad batch or what. I am waiting for a different brand of resin to give it a shot if not its most likely the printer being junk.

> 24 hourArrived this afternoon and it is currently in the process of printing the elegoo sample rook chess piece. So far its making very timely progress. Things that stood out to me. 1. This thing is incredibly well packed, in the best way. Its very easy to pull out all the packing material as they are large foam pads. Its very secure inside the shield as well as around it. absolutely 5 stars for its packaging. 2. Its tiny, again in the best way. Coming from a much more expensive and enormous resin printer I used at work for a while, this thing can print a surprisingly large volume being so small. And it weighs nothing, so it will easily sit on a shelf out of the way if youre in a small room. 3. More a point to the resin but, there is almost no odor whatsoever. Im using the Elegoo ABS-like grey resin and I cant smell a thing. Again, I used to print sleep apnea appliances in a $5000+ machine with $150/bottle resins that were FDA approved etc. and it stank to high heaven. That might also be because I had a few co-workers who were exceptionally uncaring of keeping the printer clean and spilled resin all over it constantly... This thing emits almost no noticeable odor despite not having any ventilation that I can see. 4. The main display is clear and simple to use and the instructions are quite verbose and helpful. So far, everything is looking good. Ill edit this later when I get to printing a few other models of my own. Edit, still completely loving it. It prints with amazing detail. The one thing that I will say though is that there is a bit of a learning curve with using the chitubox software which is the program that allows you to place supports for your model as well as preps it for the printer. Watch lots of videos on support settings and you should be fine, but expect a few misprints in the early stages of printing, especially if youre printing small and complicated models. Edit 2: started having a bit of trouble with the ABS-Like grey bonding to the printing bed on more complicated models. I tried messing with a few settings and discovered that about a 7mm base lift and regular lift distance is better than 5. Shortly after that I switched to their water-washable blue and I am incredibly impressed with it. Better details for sure. I used 30s base cure and 2.7s regular layer cure with the same 7mm lift distances and everything has turned out beautifully. Its also much stronger than I had originally imagined. Youre not going to want to throw your models against the floor very hard, or even drop the more intricate ones, but thats not too difficult to monitor anyway.

> 24 hourAfter a false start with a bad leveling of the build plate, I have been printing out awesome miniatures and even a few dice towers for a friend. As it is my first resin 3d printer I do not have anything to compare it to, but I have not had to relevel the build plate after the first correctly done time and Im a couple dozen miniature in with the only problems I have encountered stemming from my inexperience applying the proper number of supports and even that rarely messing up the miniatures too badly. Great 3d printer, would recommend.

> 24 hourThe printer is very great. Could be depending on the computer but I noticed I have to wait a little longer to write files to the flash drive or else it won’t be read but I also noticed the flash drive was kind of cheap so I replaced it for a $5 one at target. Other than that, it was plug and play for me. The rubber seal does seem kind of loose. Might glue it so it stays on. But prints are really nice and I’ve had no issues with anything so far. I see reviews of people saying their printer absolutely does not work and then they show a screen saying it’s a flash drive issue. Nothing major. Their support is great! Make sure you visit their Facebook page to get a free FEP screen replacement! I haven’t had to use it yet but I now have extras in case I ever do need to.

> 24 hourThis printer is very easy to use right out of box. You need to buy resin separately, which I recommend their water wash resin. This printer is the quietest 3d printer I have ever used, and I have used several other brands in the past. Does not get hot when running and can be used for long prints. The package that comes with it has a metal and plastic scraper, a 2 GB flash drive, a couple pairs of gloves and face masks, and a few filters for cleaning the resin tank. They do offer a free fep replacement kit on their facebook page if printer is bought through here. With my first bottle of resin I was able to print nearly 40 miniatures and a couple sculptures. The printing tray can hold 8 28mm dnd minis per print or 2 56mm figures with room for overhang.

> 24 hourStraight out of the box it took me ten minutes to be set up and almost ready to print. The first hurdle was trying to figure out why the printer wouldnt recognize the files. Turns out I had to update the firmware which involved going to Elegoos website, downloading the firmware, and then plugging the included memory card in and pushing a couple buttons. After that it worked great. I tried a few different types of prints, from bookmarks, a solid fill lighthouse, a flat print of an elephant, and of course a baby Yoda. Pros: -Easy to set up -Great quality prints -No experience needed, this is definitely a beginners printer Cons: -Small size -My one issue with this printer was one of the screws that holds the build plate in place wasnt threaded right. It still works but it was really difficult to get it threaded correctly Overall this printer has me already looking at getting the Saturn or waiting on the Jupiter model so I can start on some larger print projects.
