> 24 hourThe acting was pretty good, but the story was a who cares sort of a thing. Director: your audience has to care

> 24 hourFor an Eli Roth movie, I was very disappointed. Slow and predictable. Acting really was not that good either.

> 24 hourI noticed a lot of very bad reviews on this movie, watched it anyway, came away with the thought, it wasnt as bad as some make out. Not every movie is going to have an award performance by someone in the flick but the actors do OK in this one. Could be better, sure, but I still enjoyed the time spent watching it, it aint that bad. Take a chance, if you hate it, blame me.

> 24 hourGreat flick! It keeps you involved from start to finish. Its amazing what a good director can do on a meager budget.

> 24 hourThe acting in this movie is horrendous. The Mother character is the worst. That woman cant act to save her life, let alone this movie. The cop is nearly as bad, and his son is pretty terrible at acting too. Their line deliveries are so bad it take you out of an already weak and silly movie. They play the pronoun game a lot, and no one ever explains anything. Its pretty bro in some high school screenplay final wrote this and now its a movie. Dont bother, its a waste.

> 24 hourThis movie just got worse and worse! The writing was completely inept. The lead (vampire?) was completely inconsistent; he was callus enough to not quickly kill his wife, but rather wanted to burn her alive. Yet he wouldnt even kill the cops kid that tried to kill him, nor the cop that nearly burned the other kid nearly to death. Which of course leaves the cop alive to further sow his evil vengeance on the other characters once again. The lead vampire is nearly killed from a beating and then stabbing, yet later the evil cop shoots him multiple times, which suddenly doesnt even phase him. Initially the vampire gets angry for the people trying to help him that he yells not to touch his blood, yet later he has no problem smearing his blood all over the kids severe burns to heal him. Other than minor characters, all the characters are unlikable. The writing and directing are bad and amateur. I struggled to even get half way through before giving up and being disgusted at renting this garbage.

The Movie Guy
> 24 hourMartin (Cristóbal Tapia Montt) is seeking out his wife Ana in a small Canadian town. They both share the same blood disease that resembles aspects of vampire-ism.. He meets a crack head boy Peter (Nicolás Durán) who shows kindness to Martin. The local police and son Caleb (Ariel Levy) prove to to the antagonist. There were too many scenes... Are you alright? You need to go to the hospital/ see a doctor. The film is more akin to a drama/thriller than horror. It has a number of slow scenes where vampires heal and do detective work. Martin becomes a reluctant vigilante, a task he made boring to watch. I am sure this film will have a niche, but not a cult classic. Guide: F-bomb. No sex or nudity. 3 1/2 stars
