i ordered a variety of tweezers for plucking hairs looking for one that wouldnt hurt my hand, some of them had large areas for your fingers yet still hurt, but with this one it is simply that the joint joining the two pieces of metal is done in such a way that only very gentle pressure is needed to use them. I dont especially care for the pointy bit but thats because Im not using them as intended so not taking off for that, and besides the easy squeezing more than makes up for it. Not reviewing in relation to sewing since that is something i hardly ever do.

Works well with very sharp head. Was expecting the head to be longer so took off one star. Other than that it is sturdy and comes with a plastic cap to keep the pointy head safe from prying hands.

A bit pricy, but worth it. These are on a par, in fact nearly identical, to OEM tweezers shipped with our high-end Bernina sewing machine. Cannot find anywhere, on the item or packaging, a country of origin. Could they possibly be a rarity nowadays, made in the U.S.A.?

I originally got these for sewing and also can use as a fabric pusher. How I have them in my vanity and travel bag as why use any other tweezers.

You could do major surgery with these. Sharper than a tack. Excellent.

They are amazingly helpful when I am cleaning my machine or even just removing a spot a piece of dust. The tips are aligned beautifully. A very good price for an excellent tool for sewers. Thanks.

Perfect for getting out those tiny little stitches and can hold on to a stubborn piece of thread.

These work for embroidery thread removal. They grip a chunk of thread and help pull it up, speeding up the re-do process.

Bet I could pull whiskers off a gnat with these. Makes threading a needle easier. Tying knots to pull thru a quilt top was a snap when I ran a little short of thread. Grabbing a bobbin thread to pull up on a project was so easy. Never dreamed I could find such a great tweezers. Thanks to Amazons reviewers for the heads up on this item. The possibilities are endless for uses with these.
