Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale

Fun to watch with my kids.

This movie is a part of my childhood and will always have a place in my heart. But, rewatching it after becoming an adult makes me view it differently, its not that its bad but, its not the greatest modern cinderella movie either. Also, this movie was NOT released in 2020, it came out in 2010 so its definitely not new. Which this can also change your view of the movie.

A cute chick flick. Sweet entertainment and very clean. An updated Cinderella story with no surprises.

I like the movie

Clearly targeted to younger teens. Not great but not bad. Parents will like it. The acting is weak at times, not bad sometimes. Entertaining and probably inspiring to children, but not done well enough to inspire adults.

Waste of time.

Overall seemed like a low-budget film? Some of the casting was okay, but I dont think this movie needed to exist.

Stop watching at 25mins. Not feeling it.

THIS MOVIE IS ONE WHICH YOUNG CHILDREN WILL PONDER, AND AT WHICH ADULTS MAY SMILE. WITH NO SPOILERS, IT SAYS THAT DREAMS CAN COME TRUE, FOR EVERYONE, AND IN THAT THOUGHT THEREIN LIES ITS BEAUTY. A YOUNG LADY WISHES VERY HARD FOR HER PRINCE CHARMING BUT ALL DOES NOT GO WELL FOR HER AT FIRST. WITH PERSEVERANCE, WE LEARN THAT EVERYTHING CAN HAPPEN. A VERY LOVING, WARM MOVIE.

Not bad if you like this kind of movie. Its sappy and predictable but thats what you want when you pick a movie like this. Clean for younger audiences but the acting was just ok. A few good actors with some bad ones make it ok for entertainment. Not the best story line. Dont watch it expecting some great movie and you wont be disappointed.
