    Greater than one week

The glue worked on the gluing part, but even that was a pain for me, but I really hate how this opens. I tried to turn it. I tried to cut it. I could not figure this thing out to save my life. I finally read online somewhere (in an act of desperation I did a search) that you have to PULL the top UP to get it off. Okay. That actually sounded simple. NOPE...So I tried that and STILL couldnt get it to come off. I had to bang and pull on it repeatedly against my kitchen countertop lip in order to pop the top off, and I cant get the top back on completely either. After all that fuss just to open the thing I had struggles with getting the glue to hold the pieces I was gluing together and even broke the wood further just trying to glue the broken parts by pushing them together too hard. After you set the glue, make sure you can place the object or things in a way that you can clamp and set them while the glue does its work. All in the all the whole project was not super successful for me. Im not thrilled with it at all. Maybe if I hadnt been so out of sorts over opening the top I would have faired better with the actual glue job, I cant say. I think the glue is okay if you can manage to work with it properly, but it is not female friendly at all. I really will try a different glue if I need more wood glue just to find something that isnt so difficult to open and close.

Quality glue. Could use a cone-tip for finer applications, but is rather viscous, so perhaps the slitted pop-up tip was the only option. Some may find that more volume squirts out than they’ll need, which means there will be some cleanup to remove excess (but lengthy work time before tacky). For fine application, I squirted the glue into an old shaving cream top & applied with a micro paint brush. Not a fan of the top, for I cannot easily tell if it’s open or closed. I have to use my teeth to pull it open…but i didn’t buy the top— I bought it for the glue. Note: at final cure it is an opaque tint of light tan (not clear). So be aware. Satisfied with the purchase.
