I just cant say enough good things about this product! Although this is mainly for young children, I have really enjoyed it as an adult beginner. I especially love the finger tracker and tuner features, which help you to see how youre doing along the way. Absolutely fantastic! I would love to see an intermediate version of this product. This is great for beginners. Id try this before the expensive teacher then after getting a handle on playing move to a teacher for instruction. It gives the notes, the music, and a video example of someone playing - three ways to learn.

Ive always wanted to learn to play the violin so about a month ago I broke down and bought my instrument. The next step was to find lessons and I looked all over. Bottom line: Every instructor was in high demand and lessons were expensive, about $30 for a 1/2 hour.

It is the best independent study of the violin that I know of. Violin is a challenging instrument and this program really teaches the student fingering and how to play. It is worth every penny!
