> 24 hourExact same part with a different number. Mine was RLY02807. This part has been replaced before on this unit by an HVAC company so I dont know what the OEM part number was. 98 Vintage American Standard heat pump. Symptom is usually the indoor fan running constantly but this time the fan would intermittently work. This is very bad for the outdoor units compressor. Not as bad as the outdoor blower fan not blowing but almost. Luckily I caught it in time and its all working well now.

> 24 hourThis is a good price on this board and Im not sure Ive been able to find a better price anywhere. I seem to go through one of these boards about every three years. Uncertain if my HVAC system is the cause, or if the reliability of this board is the issue. In any case, I keep a spare on hand now.

> 24 hourI have a Trane heat pump, manufactured in 2008. Ive been having problems with the blower motor seemingly having a mind of its own, ie. turning off while the system is heating or cooling, causing indefinite running of the outdoor unit. To combat this, I set the blower to run continuous (ON position instead of AUTO) so that the system would never be running without the blower. This worked for a while, but not a very comfortable remedy since youre getting ambient temp air coming into the house between cycles. This is effectively air conditioning your house between cycles of heat during winter, and vice versa in summer. Eventually, this trick stopped working as sometimes the blower (in ON position) would still cut out, or sometimes not turn on at all. Replacing start run capacitors did nothing. Not being an HVAC tech, I started looking into getting a new unit, but then my dad recommended to try this relay first. It took me 2 minutes to swap it in and it FIXED the whole issue with my blower, just in time for an 18 degree night in Tennessee. Everything has been working perfectly since, and now I can move on to the next issue: finding a girlfriend.
