Product looks just like the picture. The cover, deflectors, and the framework they mount to are metal which is why I purchased this specific item. The framework is mounted to the cover using screws giving the impression of very sturdy construction. This cover will be used in a high traffic area for dogs in a hurry. They managed to rip the last two vent covers from the floor which destroyed the plastic frames and deflectors. Ive no doubt this cover will withstand the abuse and fare much better.

Just did remodel on bath and want to change out ceiling register that was 60 years old with 30 coats of paint. Hard to find ceiling register that screws in with lovely decorative features. Only improvement would be louvers in ABS instead of metal for bath.

This is a upgrade from the 1980S cheapos. defiantly look more better!

We had a Decorgrate register in our bathroom and were dismayed when the plastic base warped and then the metal top detached from it. Went with all metal this time to replace it. Very pleased with sturdiness and it popped right in, no trouble. Looks nice as well, do recommend.

Everything about this floor register is perfect; the design is lovely, the quality of the register is of the highest, the paint on the register is flawless, and it was packaged like a very expensive gift. Just perfect!

All metal with rivets so the vent holds up under heat blowing. Don’t waste your money on similar cheaper vents with plastic inlets.

I purchased 2 grates and am thrilled with them. This one was a special treat to use in a room with hexagonal tiles on the floor. It is all metal and the flaps move smoothly which is really nice.I am planning to a couple more for elsewhere in the house.

Well build better than Lowes, Home Deport or Hardware Store vent covers.
