Endurox R4 Tangy Orange 4.56 lbs

I used this for the first time yesterday after a p90x workout. Reading some of the other reviews, I was half expecting a miracle cure to no muscle soreness the next day. Unfortunately thats not the case. I will say, however, that I am much less sore than what I would have expected knowing how bad it was without taking anything. The stuff tastes pretty good - kind of like Tang, and with a blenderbottle and blenderball, it mixed pretty good with no graininess. The only bad part about the mixing was that the blenderbottle created a lot of foam at the top, which went away as it set, but kind of tasted gross on the first sip. Good product, totally recommend it if youre trying to avoid the super-sore muscles after a workout.

The taste is very bitter. THe product works as designed and boosts your endurance. Also, unlike Cytomax the product wont stay in solution very long. Will settle out and clump at bottom of container.

Overall Im pretty satisfied with the R4 recovery drink. It is comparable to the p90x recovery formula in taste, carb to protein ratio as well as many of the other ingredients needed for muscle repair and recovery. It is a little bit cheaper, making it a nice option.

I love this stuff. The tangy orange is the best flavor too. Ive had the Chocolate, which is bearable but not great and the Lemon-line (the green kind...I think its called Lemon lime), which is pretty good too. But the orange is just satisfying after a long ride and/or run.

Excellent product but it’s over priced imo. No need for these powders to be this expensive... in general.

Works well for me ... 53 yr old male, riding about 2000 mi per year, used for any ride over 20 mi

Note, this is the larger size container... good value/price.
