Bulb didnt work when I put it into the refrigerator

I used these in the lower part of my Kenmore refrigerator. The incandescents had burned out. They are bright enough. They came in a quality retail six pack and they are dimmable according to the package information. They are a hair bigger than the oem bulbs but fit ok.

Bulbs are so bright that I can see areas of the refrigerator that I could not see before.

Other types of LEDs have short necks and dont work well for most refrigerators or sockets. These are the ones you need for all appliances using regular sized bulbs.

We have a 5 year old GE french door refrigerator. The factory lights are incandescent and get quite hot, very quickly, so I wanted to install LED. The problem that I found is that the base of the incandescent bulbs are longer than these LEDs and another I tried by about 1/8. As a result the LED bulbs bottom out on the socket housing before the end contactor of the bulb contacts the back of the socket, so no complete circuit. I solved this problem by gently grinding the plastic, just above the metal base to reduce the diameter. Now the lamps screw in and work as they should. Is this a problem with the GE Refrigerator, or just new lamps with shorter bases? I dont know, but with a little work, the lamps do work fine and are much brighter and cooler than the incandescent they replaced. Having to modify reduced rating from 5 to 4

I used this item in my refrigerator and it has been working fine for two months now no problem. The fears about using LED in the refrigerator may not be too much of a concern. These are not warm lights they are daylight bright and thats better in my view.

They look good and the bulls are bright but they are bad quality.

What more can I say? 6 LED refrigerator bulbs for a great price, and they all work. the packaging was not good (just a box of bulbs in a bubble envelope) but in spite of that they arrived undamaged. I checked all 6 and they worked just fine. Just a few years ago LED bulbs were super expensive, but these were less than 2 buck each.
