Abbreviated version....Engineer tools are all excellent , well-designed tools. This tool is no exception. It cuts clean and smooth, the overall design is practical & the metals used hold a strong edge.

I use these for snipping plastic and metal sprues. I love this tool. The two halves of the cutters meet perfectly when you are cutting. They require very little force to cut. These were worth the wait and extra money.

I actually got these for my tackle bag, so keep that in consideration. That said, while no professional, I do have a couple of tools laying around. They are well constructed with a smooth action. Mine had no noticeable grit. They definitely cut 6 lb test fishing line. I suspect they’ll do anything within reason, as long as you keep in mind they’re pretty tiny and aren’t really intended for cutting cables on a suspension bridge. Minor gripes: It would be nice if they had some sort of stopper and/or cap to keep them closed and from poking a hole in a bag. Also, it seems like they focused more on making the grips “look cool” instead of ergonomics, but they’re quite alright in that respect.

Even though this company produces even a higher grade cutters, these reasonably-prices ones suit me just fine. For the price, they are definitely a class above the sub $10 that youll find around. The quality of the metal, the sharpness of the blades and just the feel is different. They are very snappy when they cut, attributed to how well the cutting edges have been made (Just close the edges of the cutting blades and look up into a light to see if theres any lights coming through those edges and youll know. Compare that to other ones). Definitely a keeper, and Ill be looking to buy more tools from this brand.

Excelentes para cortes de metal no tan espeso. He cortado clavos de la clavadora para madera sin que se marque el metal. También pines de más de un mm de espesor en tarjetas electrónicas y hasta el momento el filo es correcto. He probado la una knipex pero no es para el mismo uso y la verdad esta pinza está mejor que la de corte que use de knipex. Veré la forma de adquirir más de esta marca por que soy fan de knipex solo que me ha decepcionado en esta área.

One of the jaws broke on first use when cutting a wire. Ive only applied manual pressure. No abuse no nothing. Quite disappointing.
