Bought this puzzle to assemble with the wife and our two young adult children over Christmas. It was a huge hit! Were all fans of Studio Ghibli and Howls Moving Castle in particular, so the theme was perfect for us. It took a few days to complete the puzzle. Id say the difficulty level was challenging but not overwhelming for four adults. We had a splendid time working together on the puzzle and were all very pleased with the finished product. The artwork is brilliant as per Studio Ghibli and the quality of the image is very good. The pieces fit together well and the thickness/sturdiness of the puzzle feels solid. The included puzzle glue and squeegee is a nice touch. Today, Im ordering a frame to preserve this beautiful puzzle and also another Ensky puzzle. Our next puzzle will feature an image from Studio Ghiblis Spirited Away. Cheers!

Wonderful quality puzzle that is just a touch on the difficult side. The art is every bit what you’ve come to expect from Ghibli. There was not a single speck of puzzle dust in the box and it even comes with puzzle glue!

My puzzle is missing pieces which i found out on first day. I ordered a second one ...if that too is missing pieces they will both be returned ,not just one. I began at the easiest part, the pieces you cannot miss with the bright red and yellow. Disappointing.

Got this puzzle to go with my other 1000pc ghibli puzzle of Spirited Away. I wanted another vertically oriented one, and Howl was the only option -- luckily, I love Howl! It was definitely harder to build because of the darker color scheme, but I still enjoyed it. The glossy finish on the pieces does make it hard to see when the lighting is off though (especially since the poster is so dark for the most part), which is the unfortunate reason one star has been knocked off. I framed it in an IKEA marietrop (spelling?) frame (much cheaper than actually getting the official ghibli frame) and hung it up next to the Spirited Away. Its definitely a lot less vibrant in comparison, but ts okay I still had a lot of fun building!

Had a wonderful time putting it together. I decided I’d use the included sealer and mount the puzzle because it’s a very nicely done scene. The sealer seems to be basically liquid glue stick and it’s not enough to cover the whole puzzle—maybe 90-95%.

I got the puzzle was sooner then I thought I would. Also, the box was in great condition. I have not opened up the puzzle yet to put it together, but I will update this when I do. Great experience. Would definitely buy again.

The picture will now be engraved in my memory. It looks amazing. Though sometimes the darker parts made it overwhelming it was still fun.

The family has enjoyed putting the puzzle together and will definitely get another one, however there are several pieces missing. We aren’t completely finished so we may turn up another missing piece. We would like to know if we should use the included post card to go directly to the manufacturer for missing pieces or will we be able to get with seller for that.

This puzzle far exceeded our expectations - it was more beautiful and more complicated than we expected! We are huge fans of both the Miyasaki movie and the Diana Wynne Jones book Howls Moving Castle. This scene really captures the domestication of Howl and his crew by Sophie. Worth the cost.

    Fun time.

Howl"s Moving Castle is a 2004 Japanese animated fantasy film scripted and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Sophie, an eighteen-year-old hatter, encounters a mysterious and powerful wizard named Howl on her way to visit her sister Lettie. Upon returning, she meets The Witch of the Waste, who transforms her into a ninety-year-old woman and cannot tell anyone about it. Seeking a cure for the spell, Sophie travels to the Wastes and encounters a living scarecrow whom she names "Turnip Head," who leads her to Howl"s castle. There, she meets Howl"s young apprentice, Markl, and the fire-demon Calcifer, who is the source of the castle"s energy and magic. When Howl appears, Sophie announces that Calcifer has hired her as a cleaning lady for the house.
