Overpriced, but good quality and required.

This is the particular filter my vacuum requires, and Ive found amazon.com to be an excellent source in terms of price and--of course--shipping time. I have amazonPrime, so shipping is free. I vacuum about 1000sf of carpet just once a week, and change the filters about every 3 months. The instructions say to change monthly, but Ive found that if every couple weeks I clean the filter and rinse it with full blast hot water from the tap, dry it in the sun, then replace it, they last a good 3 months. If youre more fastidious than I am, you may not want to mess with all that, so change them monthly. Im never ceased to be amazed that this $40 vacuum does such a great job. In fact, I bought my first one of this brand around 1998, and when I needed to replace it in 2008, I bought the newer model of the same thing.

This is THE BEST filter for THE vacuum cleaner I have EVER used. It REALLY shows you just how much dirt this vacuum cleaner collects with ease! Really - I have recommended this vaccuum cleaner with filter to everyone I know and its HIGHLY affordable - about $60!!! Big difference between this and those heavy, bulky $300 vacuum cleaners - Ill never go back to those!

The first three times I have ordered these filters I received the exact original ones like the other reviewer who posted pictures. However this time I received these different ones. They do fit the vacuum cleaner, I’m just not sure they work as well as the actual original ones. This picture I am posting is of the old dirty one that I was changing out and you can see the difference in the filter even through all the dirt build up. Will update review if I have any issues.

Cleans well

These are not the actual Eureka filters, but similar knock offs, hence the lower price. These filters are bigger than the actual Eureka filters and are hard to fit the coupling on the canister top. Also hard to remove, you have to pull it out with force and nearly broke my fingers doing so. I usually pay about 16.00 for the actual Eureka brand filters at Lowes, but they are always put of the size I need. I will use these up for now and keep looking for the actual brand filter. The price was actually decent for 3 filters.

They fit great and the vacuum had great suction
